Your Kid Loves You

Climate change has increased the intensity and frequency of floods and droughts around the world. Globally, floods and droughts alone have forced over 10 million people out of their homes just last year. Illo (pictured) lost her entire herd of livestock when droughts dried up her water source. 

Oxfam’s programme rehabilitated wells and replaced her goats. Illo said, “Now our children sleep on a full stomach and we have enough to share with neighbours.”

All of Oxfam’s work aims to change unfair underlying systems, so that everyone has the education, resources, and opportunities they need not just to survive, but thrive.
